THE DEBTWATCHERS TEN WEEK DEBT MASTERY PROGRAM
Welcome to DebtWatchers!
You have no idea how you got yourself into such a terrible mess. DebtWatchers can help, whether you're in trouble now or want to avoid getting in debt. DebtWatchers is an online support system for people who share the common problem of burdensome debt.

Why DebtWatchers?

If you are struggling with the burden of debt, you have come to the right place. Whatever your situation...

  • You have no idea how you got yourself into such a terrible mess.
  • You know exactly how you accumulated your debts, but you just can't stop.
The DebtWatchers site has been built to offer you real solutions to these all-too-common problems, and to show you a way out of the despair, anger, and humiliation you may be feeling today.

At DebtWatchers you will find

  • Hope - in place of panic and despair
  • Actions - you can take to get out of debt
  • Training - on clear and accurate record keeping
  • Methods - for developing healthy spending habits
  • Support - you can access 24/7
We have created this site because we have experienced this situation ourselves. For many of us, as children we had little guidance on how to handle money. For others, the instruction was there, but the lure of our "have more... buy more...be more..." society led us to uncontrolled spending and extravagant living. We lived for today and hoped that tomorrow will look after itself, that government would help us, our creditors would let us off the hook, or we would declare bankruptcy and start again. DebtWatchers starts from a very simple position: borrowing money leads to an obligation to repay it. Unlike many other debt resolution alternatives, the DebtWatchers program shows you how to honor your financial obligations in full, over time, and how to avoid repeating the behaviors that brought you here. Everything you will find here comes from our own experience. We have applied these simple, effective methods in our own lives and they have worked.

How to Use this Program

If you are struggling with seemingly insurmountable debt... If you cannot seem to finish a month without spending more than you earn... If you find yourself relying on credit cards to pay for day-to-day living expenses... This Program is made for you. DebtWatchers' 10 steps have been designed to walk you through the process of taking charge of your financial life, leaving debt in your past. This program is for people who choose to take responsibility for their debts by paying them off. It is a program that shows you how to do that without subjugating yourself to the unsustainable demands of your creditors. You can start it for a little as $1.49, and buy any of the ten steps where you think you have a particular problem, although we do recommend that you start at Step 1 and work your way through at your own pace, and take the material in the program step by step with the value-added features on our website and in our Blog. Plan to start the program on a Sunday, if you can. At the beginning of each day, take a few minutes to read Today's Thought and To Do's. Think about how to carry the spirit of the message with you through your day. You can sign up at www.DebtWatchers.net to receive these daily messages by App, if you choose. Set aside about 15 minutes either at the start of the day, or at a later point when you have more time, to perform and check off that day's To Do's. Make time two or three days through the week to sign in to the DebtWatchers Facebook Page. Read what others have written there and share where you are in the program. Find a DebtWatchers buddy to go through the program with you, someone with whom you can share the details and challenges of your progress in the DebtWatchers program. We have found, through our own work with DebtWatchers principles, that this program will work for you if you commit to and work with it. If we could succeed with these principles, so can you. So, get started today. And stay in touch!

Testimonials

  • Gary Hulton

Gary Hulton explains in detail some of the aspects of the program. He has a background in architecture and fine art. He put himself through college and graduate school working in banks. In fact, he helped bank customers reconcile their checkbooks when things went amok! He got himself into debt and further trouble by defaulting on his student loans. But by using DebtWatchers principles, he resolved his debts and has been debt-free for more than 12 years. He divides his time between France, Argentina and the US.

  • Christopher Needler
    Director

Christopher Needler is the founder and creator of Debtwatchers.net. He may not fit the stereotype of a typical debtor because Christopher was born into wealth. Yet his debting problem grew so severe that he almost lost his house. Using the principles in the Debtwatchers.net program, he learned to kick his debting habit and get his finances - and his life - back on track.

  • John Lasseter
    Events organizer

Events organizer John Lasseter was once $50,000 in debt and never thought he'd be solvent, much less a Monaco millionaire. But that's just what happened when John learned the magic of facing one's debting habit and turning the tendency to self-sabotage with money into a life where all his dreams came true - thanks to the principles outlined in Debtwatchers.net

  • Katherine Robertson-Pilling
    Writer

In her early years as a writer, Katherine Robertson-Pilling lived the "feast or famine" lifestyle of freelancing. Using credit cards to fill the gaps during famine times, she found herself with $17,000 in debt and the inability to meet her creditors' demands. It was through first-hand experience paying off her debts that Katherine learned the principles she has written into the DebtWatchers.net program.

CAUTION

We acknowledge that you have ticked to read our legal disclaimer.
This disclaimer certainly gives us the legal protection we need; however, we do not want to rely on the small print. We want you to know and believe that we have your best interests at heart; so we are asking you to complete a brief financial health profile, which we can call the "DebtWatchers Debt Medical". This is not intended to frighten you or to dissuade you from going ahead, but rather to make sure that your expectations are realistic.
We know this program is powerful, but miracles may not always be possible. After a while in the program, you may come to the conclusion that you also need to pursue other measures - either bankruptcy or a DMP - and we do not want you to hold this against us!
We will respect any decision you take, and we will still be here to help you. If you choose bankruptcy, you will have wiped the slate clean. If you choose a DMP, you will have five years of commitments. Failure to keep up with those monthly payments for five years will mean that your whole file will be reopened, and all your past debts come to haunt you. In either case, how much more important our program will be to you then! Regardless, your membership in DebtWatchers will continue; and we hope it will be of great help to you.
